Richard Waldron
Artist and Photographer
Richard spent 40 years as a graphic design consultant, specialist in corporate branding and marketing graphics for clients including Glaxo, Woolwich, Thames Water, NHS et al, before taking up his brush and reverting to influence of an early training at the original Croydon Art School in the '60's. He learned a great deal from Ken Bates in Epsom Adult Education, before Ken asked him to take a class. He has taught (and continues to teach locally) drawing and painting, whilst himself developing into semi-representational expressionist painting. He also paints representationally and likes to work en plein air when possible.
He is inflenced by light, colour and telling a story in a painting - or photograph. (Richard is also a keen photographer).
