I was asked by the Dorking Group of Artists to set up a still life. I borrowed my wife's hats and added my own, plus a scarf and cloth. Many artists avoided this, preferring to paint flowers, pots, vases and the like. Some thought my hats too difficult a subject. This was the result of my own efforts which was favourably commented on by the group.
I think it is successful. I leave it to the collector to decide.
